ELLIOTT F. WILLSCHICK

"A good defence lawyer is all that you have standing between you and the state."

Elliott is a firm believer that the rights of the individual need to be balanced against the interests of the state.

Elliott has appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice level in various courthouses across the province. He has successfully and zealously represented individuals charged with a range of Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences.

Prior to starting his legal practise, Elliott worked for Legal Aid Ontario as Duty Counsel at the Barrie Courthouse.  Elliott is well respected and often able to avoid lengthy and costly trials by negotiating positive resolutions for his clients. His personal touch extends beyond Courts to where his clients need it the most; through his relationships with the clients. When you call the telephone number listed in the Contact section on this site, you will reach Elliott’s direct line. He will respond to text messages and emails in a timely manner, almost always the same day you contact him. If you are frightened or confused, Elliott will take the time to talk to you in order to ensure you that you have a part in what is going on.

Elliott graduated with a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2008 and went on to receive his Masters of Law degree from the University of Toronto in 2010, with a concentration in Constitutional Law. In 2011, Elliott completed his Articles of Clerkship at a prominent full service law firm in downtown Toronto, where he assisted with complex criminal matters.

Prior to law school, Elliott completed his Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in Political Science and Philosophy from York University.

Elliott is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Criminal Lawyer's Association and now practises exclusively in criminal law.
